Hi there,
Event Planners!
1. Reach out!
Start by completing the contact form with as much detail as you have, including your event date, location, and budget. We’ll confirm availability and set up a brief Zoom call to talk through your goals and explore what type of experience will best serve your audience.
This is a chance for both of us to ask questions, align on expectations, and make sure we’re set up for success.
2. Proposal & booking
Following our conversation, we’ll share a proposal outlining the recommended experience, date, and key details. To secure a date on Laura’s calendar, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required, along with a signed contract which we'll send. Once those are in place, your date is officially held and we'll give you access to our shared drive with resources, including headshots, bios, etc.
3. Consultation & prep
As your event approaches, Laura will meet with you and/or key leaders in your organisation to gain deeper context. This conversation helps ensure the language, themes, and tone resonate with your audience and support the success of your event.
We’ll also schedule an event prep call with the event producer to walk through timing, logistics, run-of-show, and any nuances to be aware of on the day.
4. Final details & payment
Final payment for speaking services (and any book orders, if applicable) is due prior to the event. Leading up to the day, we’ll continue to coordinate details so everything feels organised, aligned, and clear.
5. Event day
For out-of-town engagements, Laura always wants to make sure she’s there on time, so she will typically arrive the day before your event to allow time for travel buffers and preparation. On the day, we’ll need the event team to provide a full tech check — including microphones, screens, and stage setup — in the room where Laura will be presenting. This ensures a smooth experience and sets everyone up for success.
