Saying "yes" is the new "saying no" - come on, really? (yeah, really).
Inspired by Shonda Rhimes' bestseller "The Year of Yes" we'll hear from three women who've all had "yes" change their paths.
Heather Gay - Teacher, PhD student and Minnesota Rollergirl
Molly Keeler - Fitness Trainer and movement maker
Trish Cook - Mom and stand up comic
Space is limited for this one - register here!
Why do so many of us say "no" to things that may open up new adventures or opportunities? What holds us back? Aren't we busy enough without saying yes more? And what is it like to say yes and for good things to actually happen?
Moderated by professional coach Allison Ballou, this event will hear from 3 women who have said "yes" to doing something different. You'll also have the chance to create your "yes" list and meet other women who are planning the next step in their journey.
We'll have wine and snacks to welcome you, TWO gorgeous shopping pop-ups (India Hicks and J.Lux Jewelry) then afterwards we'll head next door to The Draft Horse for Happy Hour part deux!
So - join us! Make new connections, share ideas, kickstart your journey.
The Food Building in Minneapolis is a hub of food entrepreneurialism. The brainchild of Kieran Folliard (who immortalized his two female heroes in his national 2 Gingers whiskey brand), it's home to several MN food businesses - all of which are created from the heart. Red Table Meat Company (proper meat, anyone?) The Lone Grazer (locally made cheese, actually tastes of something), The Draft Horse (cafe with to-die-for sandwiches and crisps) and Bakers Field (local flour and bread, without the chemical crap).
We love this place because when you enter it, you feel the energy of "new". You want to change, participate, DO something.
We'll be there, on June 7. Join us!
